How do you Make Epsom Bath Salts with Color

At the end of a tiring day, you could surely use a relaxing soak in the tub filled with your favorite moisturizing salts. If budget is your concern (bath salts are quite expensive as you know!), you could always make your own.

For this recipe, you’ll need the following: 3/4 cup Epsom salts, 1/4 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup coarse sea salt, 8 drops essential oil of your choice, and food coloring. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add the essential oils and food coloring. Mix well. Store in airtight containers. This makes about two 150 ml bath salts.

Make several varieties like lime, mint, grapefruit, bergamot and so on.
